Prezi

This was interesting! I did my Prezi as a "Welcome Prezi" to use as if I were beginning my first day of teaching a second grade class. I enjoyed working on this Prezi to a point. I got a bit frustrated, because I couldn't figure out how to make it do certain things that I know it can do from looking at others. I could definitly use more practice on creating a better Prezi. I can see why many people prefer Prezi over Powerpoint. It does offer a variety of fun templates and such. I do still feel like Powerpoint is more user-friendly, but that could just be due to the fact that Powerpoint is all I have ever used. 

I am sure during the rest of my education career and even later as a teacher, I will be using Prezi. It will be a good tool to use in the classroom to get the students excited about a lesson. I want to learn how to use it better to make a presentation more exciting and to capture the students attention. I know from looking at presentations others have done using Prezi, there are lots of ways to keep the audience interested. I have a lot to learn, but overall I was pleased with my first Prezi experience.
