Blog-folio

The end of this technology journey has arrived. To be honest, this class wasn't exactly what I was expecting; however I have been pleasantly surprised. I think I may enjoy a class like this that is not a hybrid class, since I could have used more visual in-class experience. I still think I have learned a lot and I look forward to putting the use of the new tools to work in the classroom. I have a new-found respect to all of the technology savvy people out there. It takes a lot of patience to become successful in the use of technology.

I have a long way to go, but I am definitely further along than I was in the technology world before taking this course. I enjoyed learning about all the new ideas and tools available. I feel sure I will be using Prezi, Powtoon, and creating videos in the future. I love the idea of the flipped classroom and hope to be able to put that to use as well. My goal is to be able to learn how each child learns and to teach them in that way to the best of my ability. I want to have a fun, yet firm classroom. I feel that if I can make learning fun and keep the students interested then I give my students a better chance to succeed. Technology is a perfect resource to have to be able to make a lot of lessons more engaging and exciting for the students.
